to creative terrariums! This hands-on, healing activity will include: Tips for
plant care, learning about propagation and planting seeds, and playing in the soil. All experience levels are welcome (yes, even you “black thumbs” 🌱😉). Come ready to learn, laugh, and grow together. Mondays 12-1 pm
Facilitator Highlight!
Kathy Reens is celebrated by her peers for being gentle, patient, caring, and thoughtful — a truly inspiring Facilitator. She draws on her lived experience to connect with and support others, often staying after facilitating the Sew Amazing activity on Mondays from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM to offer
guidance and encouragement. Sewing has long been a passion of hers, and she brings creativity and dedication to every project. Beyond her skills, Kathy is deeply community-oriented, always looking for ways to uplift and engage those around her. Her story continues to be a true inspiration to everyone at Project ABLE.
Awareness this Month & Every Month
This month, we shine a light on Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) — a condition that affects people of all ages and walks of life. ADHD Awareness Month is about more than challenges; it’s about understanding, compassion, and celebrating strengths such as creativity, innovation, and resilience. At Project ABLE, we honor the diverse
experiences of peers living with ADHD and affirm that everyone’s journey is unique and valuable. Together, we continue building a community of support, acceptance, and growth.
